A mama-preneur herself, Dr. Victoria Mattingly had her only son, Everett James, in 2014 while completing her PhD program in organizational psychology. She has personally experienced the challenges faced by working mothers, especially entrepreneurs with small children trying to build a company from scratch. 

Dr. Mattingly’s academic training and industry experience focused on the research and implementation of workplace interventions that result in happier employees, better leaders, healthier company cultures, and a more inclusive and equitable workforce.

She is a published author of award-winning, peer-reviewed research that examines the effect being a parent caregiver has on employment and promotion. She has also explored the return to work process for new mothers, as well as implications breastfeeding has on one’s career. 

Dr. Mattingly is the CEO & founder of Mattingly Solutions, a Pittsburgh-based, HR management and diversity & inclusion consulting firm. Mattingly Solutions builds and implements innovative behavior change solutions that combine:

· Learning & development with

· Diversity & inclusion and

· People analytics 

The current focus of Mattingly Solutions is to help companies develop and measure inclusive workplace behaviors and train leaders and social justice advocates to be better allies for those across difference. 

Before starting Mattingly Solutions, Dr. Mattingly worked as a learning and development consultant at DDI Inc., a behavior change solution designer at Mind Gym, and as a talent assessment specialist at Amazon. 

In addition to her consulting work, Victoria speaks to diverse audiences and runs corporate workshops about topics such as gender equality, ally-ship, interpersonal communication, career development, and reducing workplace stress and burnout.
